Build a relationship with your own body. Touch it softly, just as if it were your lover. Get to know it, feel it. And maybe you can start loving it, too, just as it is.

Toxic masculinity tells us, that in a partnership the man has to be the one who is taller. For what? We are long over the need of physical protection against wildlife, which used to be helpful in the stone ages. The result today is that small men have anxiety finding a partner, because women tell them they're to short for their liking. And tall woman have anxiety finding a partner because they fear that their date will be intimidated by their height. What for? Let us allow ourselves to love a person for their personality and not for their height or looks. Let us overcome toxic masculinity.

Not everyone still has all their legs. Not everyone has tight boobs. Not everyone has a super flat stomach. But that's not a loss! It means they gained a stump and maybe some fancy prosthetics, they gained nice and flexible brests and they gained those beautiful rolls in their stomach. Sometimes we are so focused on what we lack, instead of realizing what we gain. This journey of realizing what you've got can be a difficult one, especially if the mainstream media just shows you spotless pictures. It's time to put all those in the spotlight, who gained something while everyone else told them they lost something.

The colour pink is named after the flower pinks and is used as a colour name in the late 17th century. In most European languages its named after the rose. Today it's most commonly associated with femininity, but that wasn't always the case. In the 13th and 14th century, the Christ's child was sometimes portraid in pink, in the 19th century, pink ribbons were often worn by young boys. Later in Nazi concentration camps, people who were accused of homosexuality were forced to wear a pink triangle, which since then has become a symbol of the modern gay rights movement. 🌸Fun fact: in Thailand, pink is associated with Tuesday on the Thai solar calendar. Anyone can wear pink on Tuesdays and anyone born on a Tuesday may adopt pink as their colour.

There are large booties and there are flat booties, there are ones with cellulite and some with hair and some with dimples and some with wrinkles. And they all have something in common, they are all beautiful. (and you can shake them when you dance)

The hijab can mean freedom and connection to spirituality, to God for many women. For people who don't wear it, it can be difficult to understand what this piece of clothing means. As long as a woman wants to wear it, she should be allowed to do so, no matter if it's in school, in the lab, on the footballfield or on runway. One thing is certain, she'll look fabulous in it.
